What is covered

When you suddenly hit a road hazard that damages your tyre or rims.  

We will cover:

Tyre repair or Replacement

Covers repair of damaged tyres where possible.

Replacement provided if tyre cannot be repaired.

Up to 2 incidents per year.

Rim repair or Replacement

Covers repair of damaged rims where possible.

Replacement with a similar rim if rim cannot be repaired.

Up to 2 incidents per year.

Wheel Balancing and Tyre Rotation

Covers correction of wheel balancing and tyre rotation to prevent vibrations at speed.

Up to 1 incident per year.

Wheel Alignment

Covers wheel alignment caused by road hazards (hitting a hole).

Up to 1 incident per year

Puncture Repair

Covers puncture repairs for damaged tyres.

Up to 6 incidents per year.

Excesses and time limits

Protecting your car with tailored cover.

Excess

A percentage claim cost is charged with a minimum of R300.

An additional excess is applicable should a claim be logged within the first 90 days of the commencement date and if the tyre tread is less than 3mm.

Important Time Limits

When you learn of an incident that may lead to a claim or receive any documents relating to the claim, you must inform us and give us full details within 30 days of the incident.
